Our mission: Create a collaborative space with shared resources; allowing ideas to grow. 

emergeHUB is the product of much research and planning done by the International Avenue BRZ to find innovative ways of growing the economy in Greater Forest Lawn.

emergeHUB currently  consists of:

• an office space and meeting room
• a summer market development program
• a kitchen development program
• business and community education programs
• support for becoming a green business

Each of these operations complements the others and allows emergeHUB to provide support to a wide range of social innovators, artists, entrepreneurs and community advocates.

We seek in all ways to make participation in our operations accessible, drawing in diverse communities, and instilling a sense of contribution and belonging in all our members. We feel very powerfully that strong communities create strong economies.

emergeHUB is unique in the city, in our focus on community building beyond our walls and our commitment to working with and learning from our members every step of the way.

The International Avenue Business Revitalization Zone (or, BRZ) works tirelessly to improve economic conditions for its members, and we recognize that that means improving the communities which we are a part of. This is the heart of our emergeHUB project!
